Most of the furniture in this category starts out like a
wreck. The following is a great representation of the challenges
I undertake.
I repair any damage and then anything goes! For example, if
the piece is still on the "rough" side, the
Shabby-Chic look is in order - (It's very HOT
right now!) So I go for the
distressed, aged look - crackle coating and sanding the
surfaces. This is very popular for the "Cottage Style"
look.
